Who are your client exactly?

Our clients are people living in and around the Nursling & Rownhams, Romsey and Chandlers Ford areas who are busy working or looking after their families (or both!) and finding it challenging making time for themselves. They are people who understand that their lifestyle and work is affecting their health and wellbeing and want to make a change and do something about it.

Our Pilates clients are people who are dealing with niggling aches, back pain, bad posture and joint stiffness, but want effective, high quality exercises that will future proof their bodies for a healthy older age.

Our Yoga clients are people who have stressful lifestyles and are dealing with feelings of stress and anxiety, but want to better their fitness and wellbeing so they can feel calm and relaxed, whilst improving their strength, suppleness and posture.

Who will your programme work for?
Our programmes are suitable for everyone. Our classes welcome all abilities so long as you are willing to make a commitment to your fitness and wellness. Whatever your level, you can challenge yourself and learn in a fun, friendly environment.
Where do your classes take place?

We offer classes in Nursling, Rownhams, Romsey and Chandlers Ford and also online.

What type of person do I need to be to make this work?
If you have never done Pilates or Yoga before or are coming back after some time out, you will fit right in. If you are someone with an open mind and genuinely willing to make time to see the change you are looking for, that will help.
I’ve tried loads of stuff before and nothing has worked. Does this really work?
Our classes can offer many benefits such as better body and spine alignment, joint mobility and strength. It has changed many of our clients’ lives and made them feel empowered and in control of their bodies once again. These amazing things can be achieved so long you are consistent with your practice and you make it a habit. We will be there for you, to help you along the way, but ultimately you are in control of your own success.
If I’m not sure I’m ready to get started, how can I sample your work to see if it’s the right solution for me?
That’s completely understandable and that’s why we offer free taster classes. These are group classes that will give you a chance to meet us and get a feel for our teaching and approach. You can also follow us on Facebook for daily tips and news.
What results can I expect?
Rather than telling you what I think, I’ll tell you what my clients say to me at the end of our sessions. They feel elevated, stronger, calm, accomplished and more in control of their bodies. They are more conscious of their posture when out and about in everyday life and they catch themselves when slouching at a desk/in the car and correct their posture.

They know what to do if an incident of back pain hits them or a bout of overwhelming stress occurs, but they also know that if they do their class every week, the frequency of their pain incidents or stress/anxiety is decreased.

People frequently tell me how Pilates and yoga has changed their lives, they can get back to the exercise they once enjoyed, they feel calmer, less anxious and sleep better after each session. So, classes can help to make changes, it’s down you and how you let it help you.

How quickly can I expect results?
There is a famous quote by Joseph Pilates, which I believe to be true. He said: “In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference, in 20 you’ll see the difference, and in 30 you’ll have a new body.” Of course it’s down to the individual client to decide how quickly the results come. If you are attending 2 sessions a week, consistently, for a few months and managing to do some homecare exercises you will get better results. If you are only able to make it to 1 session a week well that’s definitely better than not doing anything however you might reach your goals a little slower.
It sounds great but what if I don’t have time?
Is your health, wellbeing and happiness a priority? If yes, then I know you will find time. Our different packages offer solutions to your situation, as well as help through exercises that can be done at home and you can do almost anywhere. After all, an hour of doing Pilates/Yoga a week is way more productive than spending an hour on social media a week.
Do I need to be fit to keep up in the sessions?
No, you can join at any fitness level – before you join a class, we can decide the best choice for you depending on your level and if you have any history of injury. You are not expected to be able to touch your toes or do the splits.
Is it going to be really hard?
You will be progressed at your own pace and abilities, so it doesn’t matter what other people in the class are able to do. Like anything new it may take some time to adjust and feel comfortable with everything. Rest assured that you will not be expected to do exercises that are impossible, challenging yes, impossible, no!
